Graduation Ceremonies for Air Academy, Discovery Canyon Campus, Liberty, Pine Creek, Rampart and Village High Schools
Due to the size of Academy District 20 graduation ceremonies, USAFA will implement an Event Cordon in the interest of safety and security. To enter Clune Arena, all visitors must comply with the following requirements:
All visitors must enter through the North Gate.
A valid state-issued ID (e.g., driver’s license, government-issued identification) is required for entry. IDs must not say, “Not for Federal Use.”
D20 students may use their school ID for access.
Visitors may enter the installation no earlier than two hours before their scheduled event.
Internal base gates along Stadium Blvd. and Academy Dr. will be staffed, restricting access to other areas of the installation.
Graduation Ceremony for Aspen Valley High School
Visitors attending the Aspen Valley High School Graduation Ceremony on May 15, 2025 will need to register at least 48-hours ahead of the event using a specific link due to the event’s smaller size. The registration link will be provided by D20 in the near future and sent directly to the AVHS community.
Entering Clune Arena
Graduates and guests are allowed to enter Clune Arena 90 minutes before each ceremony.
Graduates will enter on the east side of the building.
Guests will enter on the south side of the building.
After the ceremony, graduates exit the stadium first, transition to the diploma pick-up area, and then exit the building. Guests will remain at their seats until released by the school to join their graduates outside.

Visiting Non-US Citizens at Clune Arena Graduations
To ensure efficient travel to Clune Arena at the US Air Force Academy, non-U.S. citizen requesting access to the U.S. Air Force Academy are required to follow the guidance listed below:
Individuals who are not citizens of the United States and hold a foreign passport must report to the Pass and Registration Office (PRO) upon their arrival at the U.S. Air Force Academy to secure a pass for entry onto the premises. It recommended to apply for a pass at least 72-hours in advance of a graduation ceremony.
Visitors are required to present their passport, as copies or photographs will not be accepted for processing. This process may take several business days. After your information has been processed, you will be issued a pass, which must be shown to the sentry at the installation gate for entry.
The PRO is situated outside the South Gate, accessible via I-25, Exit 150, on the right side of the road. Its operating hours are from 7:30 a.m. to 3:45 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. It is important to note that the PRO will be closed for training purposes on the third Tuesday of each month.
If you know your guest’s passport information, you can provide the information to the PRO in advance to start the clearance process by emailing requests to 10SFS.S5B@us.af.mil. The guest, with physical passport, must still arrive at the PRO in-person to receive the visitor’s pass. Wait times at the PRO may vary, and could take 30-60 minutes for processing.
For any questions, contact the PRO at (719) 333-0441 or 10SFS.S5B@us.af.mil.
