School Choice

In Colorado, all families may participate in School Choice, a process that allows students to apply to any K-12 Colorado school, no matter where they reside. If you’d like your student to attend an Academy District 20 school which is different than the one assigned to your student's address, or if your student lives outside of district boundaries, you will need to apply for School Choice. Preschool

Preschool introduces children to the structure, routine and focus of school, while also teaching them a variety of cognitive, social, emotional and language skills. Families in Colorado can apply for preschool for their 4-year-old or 3-year-old (with an IEP) through the Universal Preschool (UPK) Colorado program. We also have a tuition-based program for 3 year-old children without an IEP. Get the details about applying for Preschool.
