13 seniors from Academy District 20's (ASD20) high schools who have been named semifinalists for the National Merit Scholarship Program. Semifinalists are initially entered into the program with their PSAT scores and represent less than one percent of U.S. high school seniors. ASD20's semifinalists are among 16,000 students across the country who represent less than one percent of U.S. high school seniors and the highest-scoring entrants in each state.

Each semifinalists will now undergo a lengthy application progress to be named a finalist. The application process includes verified SAT scores, an endorsement from a school representative, an outstanding academic record, and information showing participation in school and community activities, demonstrated leadership abilities, employment, and honors and awards received.

National Merit Scholarship finalists will be announced in February. Congratulations to the following students:
