Today, Academy District 20 (ASD20) earned its 16th designation of Accredited with Distinction, the Colorado Department of Education’s highest performance ranking.

The designation, launched in the 2008-2009 school year, indicates a school district meets or exceeds expectations on metrics associated with student academic growth and achievement as measured by the Colorado Department of Education.

"Our team’s dedicated whole-child approach has empowered us to achieve this Accreditation with Distinction status. Their efforts ensure every child achieves academically and feels connected to our school community,” said Superintendent Jinger Haberer. “I am so grateful for our dedicated teachers and support staff, engaged administrators and leaders, public servants on the Board of Education and finally, our families who partner with us hand-in-hand, to ensure success and cause students to thrive.”

Notably, ASD20 increased its score by two points over the prior year, marking notable improvement on an already outstanding score. Haberer said, "A true Team One effort!"

The District’s Learning Services team will now work with school leaders to deliver the School Performance Frameworks, which allow individual sites to further analyze their data and incorporate findings into this year’s Professional Learning Community (PLC) time.
