With a combined 350 years of service, 25 retirees were celebrated at the 2024 Retiree Banquet. Annually, staff members retiring at the end of the school year can attend the celebration that includes formal dinner hosted by the D20 Board of Education.
The event allows retirees to catch up with colleagues and reflect on the impact they've left on students. After a dinner, each retiree is invited to accept of token of thanks while the crowd enjoys short stories about their time in education.
